Experience you can ask about.
Work you can understand.
We work with long-term professionals. Relevant experience and a clear, accountable installation process matter more than a sales promise.
Ask for experience with the actual job
A residential insert, a heritage full-frame replacement and a commercial curtain-wall project call for different experience. Ask who measures, who installs, whether subcontractors are used and which comparable work the crew has completed.
Verify the essentials before a contract
Confirm the contracting business, applicable licence or registration, current insurance and workplace coverage where required. Request references for comparable work and check product training where relevant. Documents and availability need to be verified for the specific professional and project.
Put the whole installation in writing
Include the opening schedule, exact product, preparation, drainage and flashing, air sealing, interior and exterior finishes, site protection, cleanup, timing and payment stages. Name the person who approves changes if removal reveals damage.
Know who responds after installation
The manufacturer’s product warranty and the installer’s workmanship warranty cover different responsibilities. Obtain both documents, exclusions and a service contact. Keep labels, invoices, completed-work photographs and the final inspection record.
Confirm the fit before the work is booked
HAUSE reviews your request and the professional fit. Local crew capacity, specialist systems, timelines and final pricing are confirmed individually. A city guide does not represent a local branch or guarantee an available installer.
